Biblical Application
Friday May 26, 2023
Friday May 26, 2023
Most of us understand and are aware of the importance of having a practical understanding and demonstrating of the word of God in our lives. We must also understand that word working with the Holy Spirit is when we achieve the vertical alignment with our God. Study alone will net a head knowledge with out practical application. relying solely on the Holy Spirit will result in a Christian who can hear/feel the origins of the Spirit, but have no real way to understand how to apply it biblically. A Christian who does not become/maintain and value the church will become nomad, who starts off okay, but will wander into trouble. Think of it like this you got the map, but don’t know how to use it and the batteries on your flashlight will start to dim.

The Pursuit of Truth
Wednesday May 10, 2023
Wednesday May 10, 2023
We live in a world where partial truths are told and repeated to the point that people begin to believe them. There is a popular term going around right now, “Speak your truth.”. If you say it and believe it this its true and how dare you if you would even think of challenging. For so much of the world it truly can be very challenging to find the truth. AS servants we have the ability and responsibility to be anchored in truth. And through love we should speak truth, share truth and demonstrate truth. While the world may be lost and confused by this, as His people we become lost as well when we distance ourselves from Him.

Thursday May 04, 2023
Thursday May 04, 2023
The sense for urgency can’t sing any louder, it is time to wake up. Time to wake up in our churches, homes, and our personal lives. It is time for God’s people to get on the stick and be serious about serving Him and spreading His word. This message and His words need to be instilled in our youth, from birth and up. They need to see it demonstrated in your lives mom and dad! Elders in then church must be the example for parents and children. When you look around the churches today you can see the numbers dwindling and the affects of spiritual attrition. However, the one that grows have commonality, conviction, purpose, and action.

A Week Before Resurrection Sunday
Wednesday Apr 12, 2023
Wednesday Apr 12, 2023
With Resurrection Sunday or Easter one week away it caused our pastor to pause and think about the significance of this time of year. We spend a lot of time looking at scripture and discussing various topics from the bible which is good and appropriate. However, spending more time focused on the week before HIS death, burial, and resurrection seems to be the best topic of discussion. The death, burial, and resurrection was foretold in the old testament prophecies. Several times it is mentioned 700 plus years before HIS arrival, birth, and ministry. His arrival and ministry represents something, a larger plan by GOD and HIS divine purpose. It is a reconciliation of HIS creation to the creator and inside of this purpose and plan resides: redemption, glory, mercy, compassion, and salvation.

Choose Wisely

Wednesday Mar 29, 2023
When a man or a woman makes the choice to submit to His Lordship, it is absolutely imperative to be 100% committed to His ways. It is a complete surrender of your will for His. It is also essential to understand that people, places, and things will come and go. There will be times of unfathomable blessings, and time of unbearable circumstances. There will also be the majority of times where we simply navigate life. Times are neither good nor bad they just are. We must not be lulled into complacency and misidentify these times and forgot how insanely important and significant they are. It is in these times where we solidify and fortify our foundations in preparation for contentment, struggle and blessing. This life is a test run for the life to come in Christ. Repetition and consistency become your friends. Conversely, inconsistency and lack of practice become your nemesis.

The world is always changing, but sin remains the same. Often times we can become distracted by all of the things that catch our attention. We have constant stimulation in that palm of our hands. Social media can be a very deceptive playground. People can say and do what ever they want, and unless we do some research, we have no way of knowing the truth. Always be skeptical of the profiles who is always awesome 100% if the time. May we also understand that this cultural aspect most definitely has an impact of our lives, which can also impact our church.

We've spent the last several Sundays discussing multiple aspect and understanding of biblical stewardship. We've talked about the original stewardship in the garden with man and woman, the individual stewardship responsibility, and the collective responsibility as a church. All topics placed on our pastors heart from The Lord to share with us. To summarize all of the mentioned topics it all boils down to how do we apply these very clearly seen biblical practices? When and where do they apply? No one person, family, or church has them completely figured out. However, the successful of aforementioned have a distinct understanding and practical application of stewardship principles.

Biblical Stewardship Part 3 - The Church
Friday Feb 24, 2023
Friday Feb 24, 2023
Last week we discussed then importance of understanding biblical stewardship as it relates to the individual. This episode we will talk about establishing a biblical balance concerning responsibility and accountability, a blanket approach of the entire body and not biblically covering the individual within, allows for anonymity and a gap in the proper working of the body. The bible is very clear on both the individual and the collective, both subjects must be covered in order for us to fulfil our stewardship roles.

Biblical Stewardship Part 2 - The Individual
Wednesday Feb 15, 2023
Wednesday Feb 15, 2023
Our Pastor is excited to discuss and share with what the Lord has placed on his heart for the second part of the stewardship series. We are going to talk about the importance of the individual responsibility of stewardship. We are going to take a look at scriptural examples that he feel provide the best applicable examples. Last week we talked about the creation of man and women, which are divinely created in the image of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We were created with a purpose far more than just existing. we were created divinely by a sovereign God to fulfill his desired purpose. The most basic of principles He created them male and female and they are intended to be joined together: to multiple and to rule over His creation. Intended to operate as a family unit. Todays examples falls on the individual and understanding your role in any and all circumstances to perform, be successful, and stand tall at the accounting. Which will be between you and the Lord. Steward to Master relationship.
Do the best you can with what you have!
